Having topped the GCSE League Tables last year’s students at Wallace are once again excelling at GCSE level this year.

Mrs Deborah O’Hare, Principal, commented:

“In many ways our GCSE results last year were truly exceptional with such a large school in which there are 170+ students in Year 12. The results this year have not disappointed. Whilst the vast majority of students have a very impressive set of results this morning worth special mention are the following students and results:

gcse results 2013 025

Ceara Henry achieved 11A*/A grades and Katie Lockhart achieved 10 straight A* grades. A very pleasing 25 students achieved 9 or more A* or A grades with 41 students achieving 8 or more straight A* or A grades. Impressively too 9 students were delighted to learn that their hard work had been rewarded by 10 or more A or A* grades overall.

The results in Mathematics are very pleasing as they were last year with every student passing Mathematics GCSE at A*-C.
