The Wallace High School under 19 X1 capped a memorable season for girls’ cricket in The Wallace High School defeating Strabane High School in late June to win the prestigious Under 19 Schoolgirls’ Cup.
The Lisburn girls batted first reaching 100 in their 16 overs, Tessa Stewart starring with 42 and Sarah McCallen a polished 21. In reply Strabane could only muster 77as the Wallace girls bowlers performed superbly.
