GCSE Results at Wallace

Students at Wallace are celebrating very good GCSE results this year. In a year group of some 170 students almost 25% of the students achieved 10 or more straight A* and A grades. Over 80% of the grades achieved across all subjects were A*, A or B.

A number of students achieved a very high number of A* grades. The following all achieved 9 A* grades: Lucy Cameron, Tyler Chapman, Jenny Johnston and Rachel Roberts. An impressive 10 A* were achieved by Hector Epanomeritakis, Bethany Henry, Kerrie Patterson and Thomas Storey with Rachel O’Connor and Hannah McGrath each achieving an outstanding 11 A* grades.

Mrs Deborah O’Hare, Principal, thanked the teaching and support staff and recognised the important role played by the staff and parents in encouraging and supporting the young people. She also thanked and recognised the important contribution made by Primary Schools in the Greater Lisburn Area. She added that the school is once again celebrating 100% A*-C in GCSE Mathematics.
