Greens Business Workshop

Written by | News

Wallace High School Year 11 pupils last week gained an in depth insight into the retail world, taking part in an innovative workshop with staff from Greens of Lisburn. The teenagers have been exploring the business world as part of their Employability classes and were delighted to welcome Greens staff Daryl Flanagan and Gillian McKinstry to the Clonevin Park School.

Year 11 Caitlin Dornan commented, “I think Greens is a really great shop – I really enjoyed hearing about life behind the scenes of one of Lisburn’s most successful businesses.” Luke Williams went on, “The workshop was very informative and certainly helped put many issues of employability into a very real context. I was pleased that the Greens staff were also so receptive to our suggestions and I certainly hope that some of our ideas will be put into practice by the store.”
