The Wallace Intermediate squad, badly depleted due to injury, were unfortunate to be defeated 44 – 28 by Assumption Grammar in the Cup Final.

At Senior Level the Clonevin Park Girls defeated Banbridge Academy by 35 -25 to win the Ulster senior Schools’ Plate.
The Junior Girls, fresh from their recent success in the SEELB Northern Ireland and All Ireland Leagues once again showed their prowess by defeating Cookstown High School 28 -12 in an energetic and enjoyable encounter to win the Northern Ireland Schools’ Cup.

Five of the Junior Squad players – Rebecca Poots, Sarah Montgomery, Sophie McClean, Rachael McCutcheon and Caroline Davis -have been selected to play on the Regional Development Squad whilst Year 12 pupil Blessing Ogbobi has just won her first Northern Irish Cap, winning a silver medal in the FINA Championships.

All at the school are thrilled with the girls’ success and congratulate the squads and staff Ros Farr and Jackie Portis.
