Princess Diana Memorial Award

22603b.gifDeputy Head Boy Timothy Taggart has received a Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Award in recognition of his contribution to school and community life. Timothy is Captain of Wallace’s First Eleven Hockey team and alos plays for Lisnagarvey Seconds. He coaches junior players on Friday evenings at the club.

He is a senior member of LYS – the local musical theatre company, having starred in productions or “The Boyfriend” and “Guys and Dolls”. He was also one of the principals in Wallace’s award winning production, “Our Town”.

His Art work is amazing – he won the prestigious Tory Island Celtic Art competition and was a leading figure in the school’s successful Creative Events week earlier this academic year.

Coupled with his role as photographer for “Esperance” and writer of many scenes of “Christmas pie” which raised over £1000 for the Simon Community, Timothy’s impact on the lives of others has been immense.

The entire school community is delighted that the many facets of his talents have been recognised by the Diana Memorial Fund.
