PTA Treasure Hunt

Written by | News

The Wallace High School Parent Teacher Association held its annual Treasure Hunt, BBQ and Disco recently, with over 170 staff, parents and friends of the school coming together to enjoy a relaxing end to another busy academic year. The hotly contested Treasure Hunt, which had been devised by the Head of the Prep Department Ron Hall, was won by the Stewart- Wilson team.

The sunny evening was perfect for both the Treasure Hunt and the BBQ which was held in the school grounds. Chairperson of the Parent Teacher Association, Beverly McClean, commented, “I’d like to thank all those who helped make the evening such a success. Our Committee of parents and teachers put a great deal of effort into planning the event and we are also thankful to the many local businesses who donated excellent raffle prizes.

As well as being a thoroughly enjoyable social event I am happy to say that it was also a very successful fundraising venture. The Committee is already busy planning a busy calendar of events for next year.”
