alevel.pngLast week saw Year 12, Lower and Upper Sixth pupils gather at The Wallace High School to receive their examination results. Principal Mrs McBride commented, “We are once again delighted with our A level results this year and would congratulate all our pupils on their achievements. Of the grades achieved 90% were A, B or C whilst at AS level 85% were A, B or C.

It is very pleasing to see that six pupils achieved four A grades at A level and twenty nine achieved three A grades. There is of course a danger in highlighting the top grades and overlooking the successaug4.png if the many pupils whose results reflect personal achievement- it is always encouraging to see that hard work brings its reward. All credit is due to the commitment of our young people and of course the dedication of their teachers.”

Mrs McBride added, “The staff and I are delighted that hard work and commitment have produced another very pleasing set of GCSE results with 49% of grades at A* or A. We congratulate our pupils on their success and commend many of them for achieving a personal best in these examinations.
