Year 8 Art : Stamps

This video was taken to document the work of year 8 in the production of “Animal Stamps”. The short video outlines how the pupils research, investigated and designed their own stamp designs this term.

Moving Image Arts : Rotoscope

The following piece by Niall Burke uses a digital rotoscope technique with each frame of the animation being hand drawn using Photoshop and a Wacom graphics tablet.

Technology Coursework
Pupils in the Technology and Design Department produce a range of computer design based products as part of both GCSE and A Level coursework. Many of these products involve not only high quality product design but sophisticate electronics.

Moving Image Arts (AS Level)

2007 saw the introduction of the new CCEA Moving Image Arts A level to Wallace High School. Moving Image Arts is a creative subject in which pupils study a range of film and animation techniques leading to the production of their own film as coursework. The following Quicktime movie features work by a number of candidates.

Comic Making : Year 8 ICT

Year 8 Pupils produced a series of short story comics using digital cameras and an application called “Comic Life” The pupils had to tell a concise story in less than twelve photographs. Please note this story is fictional.
