Open Morning 10th January 2026

We are delighted to invite prospective Year 8 and Year 13 pupils, along with their families, to our Open Morning at The Wallace High School on Saturday, 10th January.

This event is an excellent opportunity to explore our vibrant learning community, meet our dedicated staff, and discover the wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities available.

Open Morning will run from 9am to 12 noon.

Schedule of Events

Doors open to visitors at 9am and Open Morning ends at 12 noon.

The Principal’s Talk will take place at 9.15am and 11am in the Assembly Hall.

There will be performances from our Dance Team in the Gym at 9.45am and 10.45am.

There will be two Junior Hockey fixtures taking place against Banbridge Academy on our back hockey pitch, as well as Medallion rugby training on our back pitches.

Our PTA will be providing refreshments for our visitors in the Link Area.

Getting Around

If you are new to Wallace, below are some useful maps of our school premises. Our Year 8 will also be on hand for guided tours throughout the morning.

Accessing the School and Parking

You can access the school premises via two pedestrian gates (Bellevue Drive and Magheralave Drive) and the main entrance on Clonevin Park.

Parking is limited on Open Morning, and the area around the school will be exceptionally busy.

Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours when parking near the school. We also respectfully remind visitors that Thompson House is private property and should not be used for parking.
