Wallace High School netballers have once again been “courting” success, following their fantastic all Ireland Championship victory last year.
The Clonevin Park girls are enjoying a run of pleasing performances at various levels. The Junior squad, which last year, at Minor level, won Area, Ulster and Irish titles have chalked up the Area title already this season and are looking forward to future fixtures at National level. They will play St Macnissi next Tuesday in the quarter final of the N Ireland League.
The intermediate team are through to the quarter final of the Schools’ Cup and are looking forward to playing Magherafelt High School at the end of the month whilst the Senior Squad are now in the quarter final of the Plate.
On an individual basis, Year 12 pupil Blessing Ogbobi has been selecte4d to play for the National Northern Ireland Squad.
All at the school wish the players well for their forthcoming matches.
