The boys, Ian Davidson (Burney Cup winning captain), Timmy Cockram, Stephen Arbuthnot and Mark Robinson all played a major part in Wallace’s Burney triumph in 2001. They alos helped Garvey to defeat Instonians in the Irish Senior Cup final with Timmy and Stephen both scoring. This success was recently added to with Garvey’s victory in the Club Championship, a unique treble for the four Lisburn players.

Whilst in Wallace they had coffee with Principal Mrs McBride and hockey coaching staff, both current and past. The players then showed the trophies and gave some hockey tips to boys and girls in the senior school before receiving an enthusiastic reception on the Prep department.
