Wallace High School Principal, Mrs Deborah O’Hare and Ski Club organiser, Mr Jonny Reid with Paul McNeill from Surf Mountain, Lisburn, presenting Wallace Ski team captains Tessa Stewart and Dean Watt with their team Hoodies and Helmets.
The Wallace Ski Club meets monthly from September to March and has 40 current members from Years 8-14. Its primary aim is to offer pupils the opportunity to learn how to ski and improve their technique.
The fastest 4 boys and 4 girls from the club then represent the school at the monthly Ulster Schools’ Ski Association (USSA) slalom races on the dry slope, Craigavon.
