Wallace High School pupils have won the Northern Ireland final of the World Wise Quiz for the second year running. The Quiz, organised by the Geographical Association, tests the Geographical knowledge of pupils from across the British Isles.

The 2002 team of CallumOmerod, Bobby Bogan and Judith Spence went one better and won the Northern Ireland final, travelling to Manchester last Easter to take part in the British final where they were placed third.
The 2003 team, Paul Bloomfield, Philip Carson and Andrew Graham, are noe eagerly awaiting the UK finals to be held in Derby in April. Geagraphy teacher and coordinator of the quiz in Wallace Mrs Martie Singleton commented, “We’re thrilled at the Wallace teams’ successes over recent years and we certainly wish Philip, Paul and Andrew all the best for the UK finals.”
