Year 12 pupil Fiona Campbell went on, “It was a terrific experience and we were delighted to bring the cup back to Wallace again. Following our success in the Northern Ireland Finals last year we went on to win the UK Championship “I hope we have the opportunity to compete in that again this year as the time we spent at Malham Tarn Field Centre was thoroughly enjoyable .

Year 11 pupil Jamie Pow added, “We would like to thank our teachers Miss McKee and Mrs Singleton as well as our fellow team members Matthew Clark and Peter Muldrew who came along to support us. Thanks also go to our families who offered such fantastic support from the floor!”

Barbara concluded,”This highly respected quiz encourages pupils to consider Geography beyond the classroom and I’m delighted that Wallace’s tremendous record in the competition has been continued in the face of such challenging competition.”
