Niamh, a Year 9 pupil at The Wallace High School recently helped her squad to an outstanding third place finish at the World Junior Girls Figure Irish Dancing Championships held in Glasgow.
Having danced for ten years she was obviously delighted with her success: “There were over 200 dance schools taking part in the Championships from all over the world, so to finish third really is a dream come true. I’m happy and very proud of the achievement and hope that we can finish even higher next year.”
