The Wallace High School recently welcomed their incoming Year 8 pupils for the annual Intake Day which enabled the pupils to meet their class tutors and familiarise themselves with the school.
They were also given the opportunity to participate in a number of fun activities in various departments which included Technology, Home Economics, Drama, Physical Education, Science and Library.
Head of Year 8, Mrs Norma Cairns was delighted to meet the new pupils and commented: “The Year 8 Intake Day is an important event in our school calendar and one which future pupils and staff enjoy. The atmosphere is always very positive and certainly helps with the settling in process.”
