Distribution of GCE and GCSE Results

Arrangements for the issue of results for students in Northern Ireland are as follows:

GCE Results

GCE A2/AS results will be issued to students in the link area on Thursday 16 August from 9am. Careers / UCAS advice and Re-mark support will be available throughout the morning.

GCSE Results

GCSE results will be issued to students in the Link on Thursday 23 August from 9am.

 

Sixth Form Enrolment

Pupils who choose not to return or have not attained the necessary entrance criteria (14 points) are welcome to contact the school for careers advice.

When you receive your results it is important to return the enrolment documentation (provided with the results) to Middle Study between 9.30 am – 4.00 pm.

  • If you have not met the 14 point entry requirements please meet with Miss K Forsythe in the Careers Office who will advise you on courses, schools and colleges.
  • If there is no change to the subjects you selected in February then a parent should sign the results day inserts and leave them with a member of the Leadership Team in Middle Study who will verify the selection.
  • If you wish to drop from four subjects to three then they must meet with a member of the school’s Leadership Team in Middle Study to approve any change.
  • If you are unsure that you have met the criteria for a subject please speak with a member of the school’s Leadership Team who will check your form prior to submission. [See Subject Requirements document for details].

  • If you have not met the entry requirements for a particular subject (Grade B) or wishes to make a change of subject you must meet with a member of the Careers and timetabling staff in Middle Study who will advise on alternative subject selection.
