Two Year 14 pupils from The Wallace High School made their inter provincial debuts for Ulster Schools against Munster Schools last weekend in rugby mad Cork. Rory Stewart represented the under 19 side who narrowly lost 10 – 5, whilst Kyle McCall helped the under 18s defeat their Munster opponents 18 – 15 in a hard fought encounter.

Master in charge of rugby Mr Neil Hinds said “All at Wallace are extremely proud of Rory and Kyle and their magnificent achievement in playing for Ulster Schools. They will act as role models for other rugby players in the school who will be aiming to follow in their footsteps.

It is also brilliant to see three former Wallace and Ulster Schools’ players in the senior Ulster set up, namely Chris Henry, Ian Whitten and Nevin Spence”.
