Go, Go, Go Joseph at the Prep

Written by | News, Preparatory & Pre-Prep

It’s almost time to get your booking in for that eagerly awaited annual event, namely, the Prep Spring Musical!  This year the children from P4-P7 will be performing Joseph and his amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat for one night only, Wednesday, March 20th 2013 at 7.30pm.

This show is an extravaganza of song, dance and above all spectacle and colour.  It is suitable for all age groups from Pre-Prep to grandparents and we guarantee a thoroughly enjoyable evening.  Joseph and his eleven brother romp through a succession of such well known numbers as the French style Canaan Days, the Caribbean Benjamin Calypso, the cowboy inspired One more angel in Heaven and of course the big number which everyone associates with Joseph- Any Dream will Do.

The action will be ably guided by the two superb narrators namely Alice and Eve from this years’ Primary Seven while the title role is being taken by Georgia from Primary 6.  Rehearsals are in full swing and the Prep Department is a hive of activity with painting, prop. making, costume making and set construction all coming together in order to make this performance a truly memorable one.

This year we are delighted to welcome Mr David Falconer to our merry crew.  Mr Falconer will be playing keyboards for our performance and will be accompanied in the pit by a band of incredibly talented Year 14 pupils- a big departure fir us!

Tickets will be available from Monday 11th March.
