All 169 Year 8 pupils in The Wallace High School enjoyed a memorable day last week when Darren Nixon from Young Enterprise came into school to take a series of interactive activities on Learning for Life and Work.
Darren commented that the day was “to help the transition from primary to post primary school and at the same time to introduce pupils to business and enterprise skills through a range of interactive activities”.
Paul Beaton, Head of Careers in the school and also the teacher in charge of Learning for Life and Work added, “The pupils all had a great day and particularly enjoyed the interactive nature of the course”.
